On August 6th, the Animate Times removed the last season in their Fall Season schedule — indicating an early 2021 premiere was now most likely. It’s been shown the fourth and final season of Attack on Titan will premiere on December 7th in Japan and”later this year” on Crunchyroll. Season 4 will stick to the story in chapter 91 of the manga series and originally focus on what occurred to Eren and his group in the immediate wake of season 3.

This change of environment was confirmed from the reveal trailer, which shows a new landscape that looks like an Earth War-esc battlefield.

Also, we see several fresh titans, and whilst we do not anticipate these to play the most important role in season 4, they can indeed influence the last struggle with Marley. Although there are also rumblings that a brand new titan capability will play a huge role in season 4.
