This is what we know so far:

Artemis Fowl By Disney was released on Hotstar. If we look at IMDb ratings, the movie is certainly getting a mixed bag of reviews.

Some viewers liked the concept of this new movie by Disney, while some gave terrible reviews. Some viewers were also wondering why the movie is of only 90 minutes. To that, the filmmaker Sir Kenneth Branagh recently made a statement.

Why the movie is of only 90 minutes?

Kenneth in a recent interview disclosed that “It’s a young man’s coming of age story and a breathless adventure.

The pace of the story was an attraction to me as most movies are too long. Making 90 minutes movies is a lost art and I wanted to get back to that.”

Artemis Fowl is the movie based on a novel series by Eoin Colfer with the same name. Kenneth, who has also directed the ‘Thor’, was appointed as the director of ‘Artemis Fowl’.

Kenneth also revealed that he wanted the pace of the film to be like ‘Indiana Jones’. He said, “Indiana Jones was in my mind, those movies always felt like they raced along.”

Talking about the Cast of Artemis Fowl, we saw Ferdia Shaw, Lara McDonnell, Tamara Smart, Judi Dench, and Josh Gad. Kenneth also talked about the cast and crew of the film.

He said, “The three of them were very focused and had two exemplars in Judi Dench and Josh Gad”.

He also added, “I didn’t want this to be too serious for them, we didn’t let it get in the way of their school work or anything like that.

What did he say about the performance of the movie?

About the preparations and the whole movie, he said that “You have to be super organized and get the best out of the time. The rehearsal was very important as we were asking child actors to carry the movie.”

He also added that “I had two days working on the movie and I had a great time. I knew that I loved the film and was amazed at the set by how vast it was.

But frankly, it seemed a million miles away from what I wanted to do. I was just happy with being on stage and screen.”
