‘Anne with an E’ is a Canadian TV-series based on the book Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. The series was first broadcasted on March 19, 2017, on CBC and was aired on Netflix on 12th May the very year.
The series earned love globally and entertained fans for 3 seasons now. The storyline revolves around racism, sexual harassment, and political issues persisting in the early 19th century.
There have been current rumors of the launch of the fourth season of the amusing series. Fans all over are eagerly waiting for the new season to be aired.
Release Date, Cast, and More:
Initially, the rumors of the series going off-air have been around claiming both Netflix and CBC are planning on canceling the show.
Since then, quite, unfortunately, there seems to be no confirmation about the release date of the fourth season.
The news is quite heartbreaking since the series holds high regard amongst its audience. It is also a well-rated series by the critics, rated 8.6 by IMBD.
Most of the main cast will be expected to be seen in the upcoming season. Amybeth McNulty playing Anne Shirley, Geraldine James as Marilla Cuthbert, R.H. Thomson as Matthew Cuthbert, Dalila Bela as Diana Barry, Lucas Jade Zumann as Gilbert Blythe and all the other main cast members will be expected to play-act in season 4.
The season can be expected to consist of 8-10 episodes lasting 40-50 minutes each.
Season 4: Teasers, Trailers, and Plot-line
The show still ambiguously remains unconfirmed, which is why there are no signs of the release of any teasers or trailers. The unavailability of cast members is also an obstacle to overcome.
In the finale of season 3, Anne and Gilbert Blythe discover their feelings for each other and promise to keep in touch.
Anne moves on to Queen’s College to pursue higher education. Gilbert Blythe on the other hand is at the University of Toronto.
Season 4 could, therefore, be paving towards quite an interesting storyline or otherwise may even open the way to new possibilities. We might expect to see new characters and a drifting storyline.
There is a lot more to see than we can predict. Interesting developments to engage its audience. The show has an abundance to offer just like it always did.
