With their season 10 of the American Horror Story approaching now let’s have a look back at their season one-nine. With season 10 of American Horror Story is on its way, the fans are busy speculating on a theme, release date, and the casting as well. The creator Ryan Murphy has also been teasing fans with the hints, this also reveals the main cast as well as the promo photo on their Instagram with the caption saying; things are beginning to wash up on shore’.
While some of the previous American Horror Story seasons have received a good amount of appreciating and praise from the audiences and critics alike, others were almost universally panned. When we take a look back, there are certain aspects of season one to nine. The fans hope to find in season ten, along with a few they also hope do not wash up on shore.
Season 7: Cult- this season had a lot of potentials. The season was shot before the result of the 2016 presidential election, the season also could have served as a speculative dystopian future, or also as an assessment of the Donald Trump’s presidential win.
Season 9: 1984- the fans of the season also went crazy when they heard that season 9 would be a love letter to the 1980s, complete with some quintessentially 80s costumes and also with a brilliant soundtrack. The first of their few episodes even set up the whole season quite nicely. The suggestion of the ghost struck in the time loops and an examination of the mind of a serial killer.
Season 4; Freak Show- this is another controversial season that had a ton of potential but it fell slightly short of what it also could have been. The final season to feature Jessica Lange in as the main role, Freak Show holds a very special place in the heart of many fans of the show.
