Amazon Prime has announced The Expanse Season 5 is coming

The Expanse season 4 hasn’t yet premiered. That didn’t stop Amazon Prime from announcing The Expanse period 5.

Head of Amazon Studios Jennifer Salke made the statement. The news of The Expanse season 5 came alongside a renewal for Carnival Row year 2, a Jack Ryan year 2 trailer, along with the announcing of The Lord of the Ring’s creative group.

The Expanse season 5 doesn’t have a release date yet. The Expanse year 4, But does. The show to premiere entirely on Amazon Prime’s first instalment, season 4, will premiere on December 13. Season 4 will bring the team of the Rocinante to new worlds beyond the Ring Gate. Per Amazon’s description:

“Humanity was granted access to thousands of Earth-like planets which has created a land hurry and tensions that are furthered between Earth, Mars and the Belt’s countries. Plus is the first one abundant with natural resources but also marked with the ruins of a long-dead alien culture, of these planets. Even though Earthers, Martians and Belters manoeuvre to colonize Ilus and its natural resources, these early explorers don’t understand this new universe. They, therefore, are unaware of the bigger dangers that await them.”

Syfy diminished to pick up The Expanse following its third period, regardless of the show’s excellent ratings and rabid fan base. Amazon swept in to save The Expanse for season 4 with the option for more seasons outside that. And here we are: outside that.

The Expanse was developed by Mark Fergus And Hawk Ostby and relied on a publication series of the same name by James S.A. Corey. The series occurs at a future in. The story follows a group of antiheroes they travel through the galaxy and become swept up in a political storm that threatens a long-standing peace as.
