“Season two of the complex and persuasive sci-fi movie finds Takeshi Kovacs (Anthony Mackie), the only surviving soldier of a group of elite interstellar warriors, continuing his centuries-old search to find his missing love Quellcrist Falconer (Renée Elise Goldsberry). After decades of planet-hopping and searching the galaxy, Kovacs finds himself recruited back to his home planet of Harlan’s World of discovering Quell using all the guarantee. Haunted by his past and responsible for investigating a string of brutal murders, Kovacs is astonished to find his mission to solve the crime along with his pursuit to locate Quell are one and the same. Before the renewal was confirmed, Kalogridis advised EW that if Modified Carbon were to be revived, everything could change. “We want to do something surprising with the second season that is not in precisely the exact same region with the very same folks,” she says. “I think that the world of those books gives you more latitude… Richard [K. Morgan] and I have a plan, I don’t understand how people will feel about the plan, but we do have one!”
Altered Carbon Season 2 Cast

Other new Season two cast members comprise Lela Loren Power since the plays Danica Harlan, governor of Harlan’s World, Simone Missick All Rise as Trepp, a bounty hunter, Dina Shihabi Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan as DIG 301, an artificial intelligence made to help scientists, James Saito The Terror as Tanaseda Hideki, a centuries-old made by crime boss that has quite a little power on Harlan’s World.
