Altered Carbon Season 2: Prepared For An Alien Invasion? Release Date, Cast And Expectations!


Based on the book of the exact same name by Richard K Morgan, Altered Carbon is set in the century once the human mind was digitized, and the soul is transferable from 1 body to the next. A former interstellar warrior, Takeshi Kovacs. He is imprisoned for 250 years, is downloaded into a future he’d tried to stop.

Release Date Of Altered Carbon Season 2 


Netflix announced the renewal of the series shooting began in February 2019 in Vancouver. Very good news for the fans is that we’ll get to see it in February 2020, two years after the debut of season one. Season two will have two episodes less than the first. So there is an opportunity that Netflix could drop the show sooner than the debut season. We anticipate it will arrive sometime in the first half of 2020.

So Netflix released its official cast roster having an announcement heralded in the teaser for Modified Carbon Season 2.

Altered Carbon Season 2 Cast

Anthony Mackie (Avengers: Infinity War) Is taking over the role of Takeshi Kovacs from Joel Kinnaman. Renee Elise Goldsberry (One Life to Live) will perform Quellcrist Falconer. Simone Missick (Luke Cage) will take on Trepp, a professional bounty hunter.

Chris Conner (American Crime Story) will reunite as Poe, a centuries-old, highly-evolved A.I. Dina Shihibi (Daredevil) is shooting on Dig 301, an out-of-work A.I. programmed to assist individual archeologists who find a new function when she meets Poe AND Torben Liebrecht (Operation Finale) will depict Colonel Ivan Carrera.

Altered Carbon Season 2 Plot 

With Mackie verified as Kovacs, it seems logical to presume that season two will follow Broken Angels and Woken Furies. Thus Angels are put 30 years following Altered Carbon and demand corporate wars on alien planets, Martian artifacts that open portals to outer space.
