Altered Carbon is a show on Netflix based on Richard K Morgan’s book of the identical name. It’s a sci-fi based series with the first season on the track. It is about the memories of people that can be implanted in what they term ‘sleeves’.
The first season is of the show presented a violent mercenary whose memories are into a sleeve to solve the murder of a rich man. Morgan has stated that “if all goes well” the series “will run for five seasons”.

The season two of the show will premiere on streaming platforms on February 27, 2020.

The possible storyline for season 2
In season two, we will see Takeshi Kovacs (Anthony Mackie) resuming his centuries-old search to find his lost love Quellcrist Falconer (Renée Elise Goldsberry).
After solving so many murder mystery cases, Kovacs is about to find about his latest mission.
About the season 2 is a prequel, Morgan says, “I always think prequels are a bad idea,” he continues “I think once you start ‘prequelling’ you hollow out the original inspiration and you end up in a place where you’ve strip-mined everything about that character, and it stops to have a mystery.”
