After Life Season 3: Expected Release Date, Cast, [PLOT], and other detail

Everybody is talking about Season 3 of After Life as after the second series of Ricky Gervais the black comedy-drama released on Netflix this weekend. There is a high expectation of another season of After Life.

Season 2 of After Life is now streaming on Netflix after more than 365 days of waiting. Many are calling it Ricky Gervais best work till date as the dark comedy has become a big hit with several Netflix users across the globe.

The third season of After Life is not confirmed by Netflix at the moment. It is still very early for the new series to be confirmed as the second season of the dark comedy was released on Netflix on Friday, March 24.

After the series originally aired Netflix it usually announces its renewals and cancellations for the upcoming seasons. To hear the official news of the shows’ future fans of After Life would have to wait till September 2020.

Season 2 of After Life was released quickly after the release of the first season. So fans can hear some good news in the upcoming weeks. If the makers agree to release season 3 of After Life then the fans can expect the next season to be premiered in April 2021 on Netflix.

Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, the production of the new season has taken a halt which ultimately means a late release date. The show has achieved an excellent rating of 8.4 out of 10 on IMDb. It acquired a score of 70% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Gervais said: “For the first time ever I would do a season three because the world is so rich.

“I love the characters, I love all the actors in it, I love my character, I love the town, I love the themes.

“I love the dog! So I would do a third!”

He continued: “But it’s got to be a real demanded-for encore. I’m not going to just do it.”

“If this goes down a storm, and Netflix call me next week and say: ‘Listen, It’s gone through the roof – everybody loves it, we’d love to do a third,’ then I would.

“But I wouldn’t do it for the sake of it. I wouldn’t do it just to get paid, or because they want another show.”
